niogtyve
‘niogtyve’ (translating twenty-nine in Danish), is a reinvention of the common stool. It’s made in consideration of an active seating-experience. The stool consists of twenty-nine legs, creating a half sphere. This design gives the opportunity to the user, to move around to different dynamic positions. The different lengths of the legs and their placements, acts as natural stop-positions, which ensures that you won’t have a feeling of tipping over on the stool.
The stool is designed and produced by Laura Fiig and Sofie Rueskov Sundby, as a design proposal for the contest FSC Awards in 2015.
